LED Lighting Technology

What Is The Operating Temperature Range Of Your Mirrors?

Our mirror electronics are technically able to operate in a range of 0 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, but we discourage operating the mirrors at the extremes of this range. Our mirrors are not designed to be operated out of doors and they are not waterproof, but they are manufactured to withstand steamy conditions in the bathroom with lifetime moisture-proof backing. Installation should be indoors and not immediately inside a shower/tub area.

Do Your LED Lighted Mirrors Have Plugs To Plug Into A Wall Outlet?

Our LED mirrors have 2 or 3-prong plug that you can plug into the wall outlet. You can also choose to wire your mirror to the wall.

Do Your LED Lighted Mirrors Have Switches?

Yes, all of our LED mirrors include switches.

Are Your LED Lighted Mirrors Dimmable?

Our LED mirrors are dimmable.

What Is The Color Rendering Index (CRI) Of Your LED Mirror Lighting?

The Color Rendering Index is a scale from 0 to 100 percent indicating how accurate a light source is at rendering color. The higher the CRI, the better the color rendering ability. Light sources with a CRI of 85 or better are considered very good at color rendering. CRI is independent of color temperature.

What Is The Color Temperature Of Your LED Mirror Lighting? What Color Temperature Should I Use?

Our LED mirrors come with several options. 6000 Kelvin color LED strips provides optimal "natural daylight" light for makeup and grooming applications. We also offer a 3000 and 4000 Kelvin, which provide a "warmer" yellowish light more like a standard incandescent light bulb. The warmer color temperature helps you to see how you would look under softer lighting conditions. Which LED color option you choose is a matter of personal taste, options provide the same brightness (lumens) based on the size of the mirror.

Do Your LED Lighted Mirrors Have Enough Light For My Bathroom?

LED mirrors are designed to provide optimal light conditions for the person standing in front of the mirror, to help with grooming and makeup activities. The LED light is a diffuse light that is not intended to be the primary lighting in the room, and the light projects straight forward through the frosted glass, it does not project into the corners of the room.
Regardless of whether you choose to install the upgrade, we still strongly recommend also having separate primary lighting in your bathroom.

What Is Your Recommendation For Cleaning And Maintenance Of LED Mirrors?

It is recommended that you use a soft, dry and non-abrasive cloth to clean the products. Avoid using cleaning agents or abrasive material on any type of finished surface.

Can Your LED Mirrors Be Installed In A Walk-In Closet?

Yes. You can install the mirror in the bathroom, walk-in closet, above a bedroom dresser, hallway, in an office setting, hair salon, restaurant or retail store. There are many ways you can install an LED Mirror in your home or business.

Can Your LED Mirrors Be Installed Horizontally Or Vertically?

Yes. All our LED mirrors can be installed horizontally or vertically. Please refer to the specification sheet of the mirrors for exact dimensions and location of hanging brackets behind the mirror.

Can Your LED Mirrors Be Used As The Only Source Of Light In A Bathroom?

No. We do not recommend using a LED Mirror as the only source of light in a bathroom. We recommend having an overhead lighting in addition to LED Mirrors to create ideal conditions in your space.

Why Should I Buy An LED Mirror?

The LED Mirror is the next generation of Mirror and Lighting integration. It can eliminate the need for wall lighting usually found above traditional mirrors, and brings a clean and modern look to any bathroom.
